Setting up Permissions

Permissions control what users can see and do. They are assigned to Roles, not individual users.

Steps:

1. When Creating or Editing a Role (see "How to Create Roles"), you will see a list of available Permissions.
2. Check the box next to each permission to grant it. Common permissions include:
   • data.view: View dashboards and metrics.
   • data.upload: Upload new data files.
   • metrics.edit: Create and modify metrics.
   • users.manage: Invite and edit users.
   • roles.manage: Create and edit roles.
   • outcomes.manage: Define outcomes for roles.
3. Save the Role. All users with this role will immediately inherit these permissions.
